Deciding what to take with on any multi-day bike ride is very important. There is a fine line between being prepared and under prepared. Cycling Lands End to John O’Groats is no exception and preparation is key. I started my preparation months in advance and to do this I read many blogs and experiences available on the internet as well as watching countless videos. I have to admit that I was over prepared and did pack a little on the heavy side but I did get a chance to lighten the load when I met my family on route.

There is no right and wrong kit list and what I want to show is a list of what I took with me on my 21 day Lejog staying in Airbnb’s, Guest Houses, Hotel, and Hostel accommodation.
Here is a full kit list of what I took on my LEJOG ride.
